Uk energy suppliers are not making much profit if any which is why a good few have gone down the pan in recent years, on the other hand energy producers are making millions a minute and paying their shareholders massive bonuses
The price cap means nothing its only the maximum the suppliers can charge PER UNIT and does the government give a flying fuck? No of course not they want the energy suppliers to make a profit and pay taxes which they can divert to their pet projects, none of which help the country in the slightest
In the meantime poor sods like us are heading into debt because its isn't possible to pay the extortionate amounts the suppliers are demanding, we simply don't have the income to cover it and even the 600 quid or whatever it is "help" does not apply to us as we receive no qualifying benefits (even if we got that it wouldn't make a dent)
Angry does not begin to cover how I feel about all this shit, its no longer the country bust my balls paying taxes to for way to many years the place is broken and truss will kick it when its down so they whole lot can take a flying leap as far as I am concerned
