I`ll see what i can do about price for bombing :-:

You are dead right about MPI/DPI being no use cos they really only any use to locate surface defects. much cheaper to do though :}

having spoke to seb on the blower and got some advice from him i now find me nipples are ok:yo:
despite seb telling me i bet theres nothing wrong with them i still had me doubts..as you do..ok i was filling me boxers to be blunt about it
the rolled up tissue down the nipple trick payed off....roll up some paper and feed it into the nipples..keep doing it with new bits until it comes out dry..then replace rubber cap..take bike for blat and do again the paper bit..if paper dry your going to spain..if papers wet its time for time off work and slap out the credit card

also i found hard paper the best to get down the nipples cos they are fooking long on the back caliper
done it first last night with kitchen roll and thought id got it dry..checked them at work today with blue hand roll type paper and they were wet again:eek: ..however i now put this down to the blue paper being easier to shove down the hole..so it goes further down.....checked agin once home after some heavy braking...and there drier than one of fat berts jokes..and believe me they are dry:yo:

PS loctite thread sealer available for sale..unopened ?5.50..can even throw in 500ml of sealed dot 4 fluid for ?2.40!

rechecked the nipples tonight..still dry:bow: :beer: :bow: :beer: :m

Followed Seb's advice and sealed the little weeping bugger's and despite being rebled since,no more weeping. So I agree there must be a slight mismatch of thread between the nipple and caliper.
I can't believe Honda don't know about this,has any one contacted them.If so what they say,it seems to be a very common problem.
Any way mine's fixed was a bit of a worry for a while causing:bang:

I was able to speak to a bloke about X-raying the calliper and explained why i wanted it done R#?

he couldnt give me a price but did say it shouldnt cost too much as it would only need a couple of exposures but it might not be as clear as you would like due to the metals of the calliper and the nipple being very different density materials.

the exposure timing for seeing the nipple clearly might leave the calliper completely transparent ( or something like that :dunno: )
just got back to work today after the bash abd having a few days to chill out i havent been able to find out any more ...... ummmmm sorrrrrrrryyyyyyyy :blush:
