Can of worms if you want to be legal including stupid helmet stickers etc

All I do is have a GB sticker and ensure I have all my docs.

Hi Jack.
Did my first trip abroad last year. Enjoyed it so much we went again a few weeks later! Don't forget spare bulbs and beam adjuster.
Though not a legal requirement a sat nav is brilliant especially at round abouts as it reminds you which way round to go. Lol

Handy tip there Jack, Saved my ass a few times in the car with the family so would definitely be a worth looking at doing. @tu*

We went over on the bikes in 2008 and just brought photocopies of the log book and insurance cert, a spare dip light bulb and a spare tail light bulb. I'm not well up on this new Hi-Viz crap but generally if you are not speeding (by much ;-0)) ) and don't hog the overtaking lane, The Feds will generally leave you alone.

Most of all, just pack up and go, you'll really enjoy it, and stay off the toll roads if you can as they are boring and expensive. If you do venture into Paris, firstly - You'll probably need mortgage approval for a shopping trip as everything is ridiculously expensive and secondly, USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT as the Parisiennes are loopers behind the wheel :wank:

Give your usual breakdown company a call and see what they can offer and how much and what it covers, some still wont include accident recovery!!
