Anyone been to the Farmyard Party this weekend? Plenty of Birds there. Fantastic do highly recommended, brilliant atmosphere lots of beer consumed  , with some of the bikes that only could be described as works of art. Music and entertainment all thought the day and night. No trouble, no police just a good time had by all. Good one, and well done MAG. :yo:

It was at Helmsley about 30 miles west of Scarborough, camping in a long valley well out of harms way

Lol at the two geezers on the bike! I went up to the Welsh do at Builth Wells the other weekend for a few days camping and there was a guy riding around there like that.

I did consider it meself but my mates said it would scare too many women and children, so I thought better of it :p

Update

The whole site is now apparently under 10 ft of water after a flash flood.

Received this today from a fellow Ogri member:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_yorkshire/4109692.stm

"The massive flash flood at Helmsley has hit the Farmyard site.

They are 99% sure everyone is OK, no one hurt, although there were 2 people airlifted to safety.

The whole site has washed down the river. Hundreds of thousands of pounds of equipment has washed away.

PLEASE DO NOT GO & LOOK whatever you do-the whole area is a disaster zone at the present time.

Most if not all of the Marshalls have lost equipment, I don't know about bikes & cars-not sure on that one, but the whole site is under 10ft of water.

Can't think of much more to say at this point-If OK with everyone at the site I may keep you informed

As a footnote, please do not go to look or to help-I am holding myself back wanting to drive there right now, but we must leave it to the professionals

I hope you all don't think I am being ghoulish, but you will see it on the news anyhow

Maggie"

Thank god it didn't hit 24 hours earlier!
