EYEBALL cards, HELP!!!! please,

Some time ago, eyeball cards were the order of the day, and have helped a lot of us introduce the site to new Blackbird riders and owners, however this seems to have "died the death", why I have no idea, however, I belive that the "templates" for these cards are still "knocking about" on line somewhere, can anyone point me in the right direction so I can print some more cards off, and maybe introduce even more riders/owners to this site,??? :bow:

If anyone thinks the eyeball cards need a revamp let me know and I will make adjustments, but I would prefer to stick with the format as is cos they are recognised as ours now !

In case anyone does not know what this is all about.. heres the low down..

You download the zip file and it is the back and front of an eyeball card laid out in 'Word'.

A lot of folks simply use plain ordinary paper but idealy they should be printed on light card ( about 5p a sheet at most ! )

Whenever you go to an event take a few cards with you and if you see a Bird pop a card on it somewhere..

Two advantages..

1) if they are already a member on here you might get to put a face to a fourm handle

2) if they aint a member already they they may well become one

These are what they look like..
You print one side, then add your name to the and handle to the other back side document, flip the card or paper over and print the rear of the card.. Easy peasy

Mine doesn't line up, no matter how I do it, I've tried turning the paper all ways, so I have to print on seperate sheets then cut em out and stick em together.

K Derek, I wil have a look at that issue mate.... It works for me but I have a bit of an OTT set up here ( sort of works it all out for me ! )

Just had a good idea folks...

Do you have ms Word ?
Do you want to print out the eyeball cards ?

Here is what I propose.
I will set up another file which will contain two word docs as per.. a front and back.

However, each doc will only have the one single example of the card.

Highlight the card, click on tools and select Envelopes and Labels.

Click on the Label tag.

Click on the box to the bottom right and set the label to the size you want your cards to be ( if you select L7160 you will get 20 cards on an A4 sheet )

That will then align everything for you.. Print the front.. flip the paper over and print the rear in the same way.. Job done and perfik allignment !

Would this idea be of use ? If so I will make up the new doc and get it on the web site asap..
