Exhaust silencer compatibility

I have seen a pair of undamaged genuine Honda silencers advertised they are said to be off a 2001 Blackbird will they fit on to my 2006 XX6 ?

whats wrong with your originals?

I've a set of catted pipes for an FI sat around (admittedly not pristine but no major visible dents/dings) FOC if desperately needed

Hi Mikeyw64 Thanks for the offer of the silencers but am hoping to get a pair of un marked ones. I dropped the bike the other weekend and put a small scuff on the front edge of the silencer other than that they are very good. Not even sure if the mark could be pollished out are they Stainless steel?
i saw a couple on Ebay according to the owner they are un marked, off a 2001 blackbird are all fi exhausts the same?

from 2001 the end cans had Cats you can tell this as there bigger just after the clamps.

Per 2001 do not have Cats and there the same size just after the clamps

So the answer to the post is yes if they are with Cats
