For the first time ever I watched Ref Watch today :)

Conclusion by the experts was a foul, he was in the air when bundled...
Annoyingly I must have forgot to set the recorder. Interesting programme, I have learned plenty from it.

And it highlights how many decisions are subjective and how opinions are often divided.

And how impossibly white Steven Warnocks teeth are.

He says he left because he was spending too much time on the bench.

Or,was it the beach?

Cardiff v Leeds.
To sum up ref was poor for both teams, the penalty should never have happened because the Cardiff player should have had a second yellow earlier on but the ref bottled it.
Leeds defending was shite, Struijck was out of position & looked nervous.
The penalty should have been retaken as the keeper stepped forward before the ball was kicked.

Bit of a shock you saying the ref was poor derek:eusa_whistle:

i agree the penalty should have been retaken, if VAR had been available I think it would have been.

For a long time I have thought that when an infield player ‘saves’ an effort that is obviously going in then a ‘penalty goal’ should be awarded in the same way that a ‘penalty try’ is awarded in rugby. Alongside dismissal.

I did say he was poor for both sides, not biased, just shite.
In this case I think the shot was actually going wide

Not disagreeing but pre var Leeds goal would have stood & villa’s second wouldn’t due to the ref’s on pitch decision, var has been consistently inconsistent & has got it wrong more often than getting it right.
