I ordered another infrared floodlight from fleabay..
Arrived early and was happy..
At least until I tried it
Unlike my other ones it seems to have a range of about 4 metres even though it was advertised as having a range of 20
Contacted the seller..

When you take a picture of the dark just use a flash.

While I appreciate the input young sir, I have one or two of them elsewhere, and before I got in to IT spent a few years installing alarms and security camera systems.. Swift Security Systems ( Norfolk ) was my firm
It is replacing an existing one that has been slowly dying over the past couple of years.. Even the old duff one with about 30% pf the LEDs now defunct was better than the new one !
I have now ordered another from a different firm.. A firm and make of light I know are good
Even f I do not get a refund on the duff one I can use it as a fill in light somewhere..

Many of the chinese companies seem to be using UK based addresses. But often items still come through customs!

If they say they are in the UK but your stuff does not arrive in a max of a week OR there is duty to be paid report the firm and refuse the parcel
eBay will ALWAYS refund you

Not had an ounce of trouble with anything electrical bought from china but the up to a month wait can be annoying especially when the add states uk based, when that happens I just demand a refund & usually get it before the item arrives

The problem is most of the stuff that is genuinely in the uk comes originally from china anyway its just 3 times the price off a uk seller

On the flip side, had a couple of type 14 screw in LED bulbs arrive today.. Ordered on November the 15th !!!!!
