Nothing to do with Blackbirds.

I've booked a trip out of Phoenix, AZ in October, 6 days on a Harley Davidson.

EagleRider do rent Hondas, but not Blackbirds - and why wouldn't I want to be astride a Harley when at the Grand Canyon and along Route 66 ?

Just to let people know they were extremely helpful on the phone (their toll-free number is not toll-free from the UK, of course).
Their website is less than accurate (note below), best to ring them - but then they'll talk you through Insurance, Clothing hire etc etc etc.

Man says for October, you only need to book 1 month in advance

Jay

Note: for example the website says These bikes can be hired from These locations, but in fact they have a wider range out of Phoenix than those listed.

If you want the link, google Easyrider.
Posting a link may become out of date, but if Easyrider change URL (although probaby unlikely), Google will continue to find them.

The dealership in Phoenix is called Hacienda Honda, and they are in Scottsdale.
And NO I shan't be posting the link either.

The rates are on their website, they vary according to which machine you rent.

Googled 'easyrider' as you sugested and they present 8,620,000 search results for it. "Hacienda Honda" gave 374 results but they were mostly car dealers by the looks of it, and easy rider gave 61,000,000 results.

Finally tried Eagle Rider and it came up with this in Phoenix but I don't think it's the same place you mentioned:dunno:, even so their rates seem quite good to me.

Can't see the point in posting to let us know how good and helpfull a particular bike rental dealers is when you wont include contact info for em... anyways have yourself a good one.

My brain is kaput, or my finger's broken, or both ! !

Whilst talking about Eaglerider I tryped Easyrider.

Whilst talking about Harleys I tieped Hacienda Honda.

For those for whom this was too much to spot, you need to Google EAGLERIDER and HACIENDA HARLEY
