Sunday before Xmas I sold my old Yammy 650 on e-bay, put on the selling details 'local collection only' as the carbs are playing up.
So some guy from Manchester does the winning bid, I sent him the invoice and asked him when he wanted to collect, and heard nothing for 3 days, when he replies he said he would be down on the 27th to collect, pay cash and then ride the bike to Manchester! I responded same day to advise against riding it that distance with dodgy carbs, heard nothing back from him, he never showed up on the 27th. He has fairly good feedback, but 1 neg for winning a bid then pulling out of paying.
Now what should I do, push him for payment and collection, or just leave it and re list the bike in the Spring, guess best just to sit and wait, as the ball is in his court now anyway.
