Why would they believe that when people in that age group are dying of it?
I live with a college just down the road and watch the teens.
They all have the masks as they have to wear them while in college but you hardly see any of them wearing them as they move
around, still in their groups.

We have three members of the family positive and isolating in their respective households at the moment.
Grandson and his girlfriend, both at college and my sons partner who works in a school.
Grandson says he has had worse hay fever!
His girlfriend had three bad days but she is asthmatic.
My sons partner had the smell and taste symptoms along with sinus type problems
Age range 17-32

Very sorry to hear you have family members affected by Covid19.

Good news that it doesn't appear to be affecting them too badly and this highlights what a bastard thing it is - your family members are having the good sense and decency to isolate to protect others from the highly contagious virus even though they aren't feeling too bad...sadly I think there are many out there that aren't doing the right thing.

sadly I think there are many out there that aren't doing the right thing.
The thing is though, they may not realise that they are doing wrong.

My grandsons symptoms were very similar to a common cold which normally he would have brushed off as such if his girl friend,
whose symptoms developed a bit worse with her being asthmatic, hadn't tested positive.
Even the Covid help line said he just had a cold and to continue as normal.
Then going back about 4 weeks earlier his parents had similar cold like symptoms and did brush it off!
So what I'm getting at is, you just don't know!

Just as an aside on this subject. My view on Mc Donalds has changed since he took a job with them.
Especially in the present climate.
He rang them to say he had tested positive and they said for him to take what ever time he needed.
A couple of days in they rang to check how he was.
They then went on to ask about the health of the other members who were isolating.
And finally, they asked if the family needed any essentials like bread, milk etc picking up.
How many other employers have done similar?

Interesting stuff.

I suppose it underlines the importance of seeking advice and getting tested if in any doubt.

It really is a horrible virus.

What do you expect? Realistically?

I am sure they would love to have definitive answers.

Reality is that they are doing their best and have a damn sight more knowledge and insight on the subject than Doris on Facebook.

Realistically, I'd like truth and facts from any Government, but I'm not so naive as to think it's coming any time soon.
I have no doubt at all that the Government are doing there very best with a really difficult situation. My problem is with the experts who roll out figures pulled from the air and expect us to react as if they were speaking factually.
Having never been interested in Facebook I cannot speak for Doris, but I bet she'd give the experts a run for there money where numbers are concerned.
