I’m surprised you did it at all, with social distancing 2m apart how do you manage to put a nut onto a bolt he’s holding? :)

He taped each nut to the end of a yardbroom and got his oppos to rotate the gazebo. That's why it took so long....

Hockings ice cream down on Torrington Common, first one of the season, biggest one on the menu, triple dolloper cone with clotted cream on the top.
Was very disciplined in not adding a flake, made me feel quite smug :p.

Made a pair of links for a tractor, much bigger, thicker & stronger than the originals which keep breaking
Stripped my Air Arms down, re-blued it & polished/oiled one of the stocks
Measured up the plug I need making to fit a shorter stock on the little ones Crossman
Nipped around to my mates to check, tighten & oil the chain on his missus bike as he's incapacitated at the moment

That don't sound like much if you read it quick but I was up at just after 5am, started around 5.30 & didn't get back indoors until 7pm

Gazebo was 4x3 metres, so all ok and we went round in circles, or was that oblongs?

Got the Blackbird ready to be collected .. Someone in Scotland has bought it..
More than a bit sad to see it go, but needs must....
This will be the first time in 23 years I will not have a Blackbird in the garage, plus this one is close to my heart having built it from scratch more or less

Finished rubbing down the katana frame in readiness for paint, and then de-iced the 2 freezers in the workshop.

Oh I forgot to mention, I went out last night for a ride to a local bike night. Quite a few attendees and while there was a large number of newish modern bikes to be expected, there were a few old bikes, including this excellent build. It looked fresh enough to be a lockdown build perhaps. Interesting all the same as I’ve never before seen an AJS motor in a BSA frame. I’m not sure if the chopper seat aids the build, or if it needed a stock seat. It looked extremely well out together and I was suitably impressed. weekly shop, if the way people in the shop behaved, there will soon be a second wave and another lockdown

went for a walk with 2 friends, followed by a coffee sitting outside a pub and social distancing
