Ive been using Limewire but it must be the easiest place to pick up virus's from so for the small amount I do want to download I wouldnt object to paying a fee.

I've never had a problem downloading with BitTorrent sources. No virii or Trojans, and 100% the actual name it says in the tin.

Not that I ever download pirate music of course. l4m3r

Users of peer to peer applications are ruining it for themselves. Eventually they'll all be shut down. WinMX? Kazaa? Limewire will go the same way.

Newsgroups may seem old hat but they are THE way forward, the future. Pay a small fee annually to access a usenet service and then use an app like Newsleecher / NewsRover or similar.

Just leeched me a perfect dvd of Final Destination 3 to watch later! If you're on half meg you'll get half meg download speed, if you're on 2 meg you'll get 2 meg, cos everything's held on servers with 30day retention - you're not relaint on the 'peer' to have their PC on or limited by their connection

They?

All 10 million of them online at the moment? Distributed trackers are now quite popular so once you have the Torrent details, you get the file even if the tracker web sites are shut down.
