The nearest one that I know of that fits that bill is Premier Bikes at Askern just leaving town on the A19, 18 miles north of Doncaster. It has a large cafe inside that attracts cyclists as well as bikers.

Try giving......

Taz on IXXRA a buzz... He actually lives just outside sunny Donny (his term, not mine)

There are quite a few of the IXXRA guys around that area. No doubt they would be happy to help with an eatin place...

Cheers Simon,

It is many years since I have visited the Doncaster Dome leisure centre but they used to have a very good cafe there, it wasn't expensive either, but times change so it's probably a creche by now

yeah why do cafes do that :dunno:
most of the places i used to go to are just down right run down now with crap food..same people etc
for instance..there is a gaff called "georges diner" just round the corner from city airport..in the middle of nowere but used to have trucks full up in there car park and them all lined up the road..people out the door waiting to order etc and they done good home cooked pies, steaks..etc etc
went there for the first time in a few years a few weeks back..same peeps..same layout..food was rank..and i do really mean RANK, had a t-bone steak, chips and mushrooms..covered in grease, chips really did taste like they had been cooked in old oil like 5 times steak was..well surfice to say i had to pick up some sirloin on the way home otherwise i may never had touched steak again
tried drowing the chips in sauce but still couldnt eat them
felt sick for the rest of the day and only had a few mushrooms and the steak
so why??? why do people like that that are sitting on a gold mine..especialy now the DLR ext being built runs past his gaff just let it slip so bad :dunno:
just seems to many places have gone down hill :bang:

I know it well, Simon.....go past it on the way to work every day. Used to be banged out all day long from 6 in the morning......now it's like a graveyard.

Same as Cherie's Cafe in the high street at Poplar. Cherie sold up and the new owners are Muslim....first morning they took it over I ordered a full English brekkie only to be told that there would be no more bacon, black pudding or pork sausages served in the cafe !!!!!

It's now dying on it's feet.....can't see it lasting past Christmas.

No need to look for houses Si.....found one !!!!!! :}

I'm paying the price for all the years of laying in the sun at every given chance. Backwards and forwards to the hospital having dodgy looking skin moles cut out and biopsy reports done on them.

This last one is bloody sore....deep rooted and a 6 stitch job !!!!! :B

I'll be alright....God don't know me and the Devil don't want me !!!! :}

I worried a bit at first but now I just accept the fact that the doctors know what they're doing and I trust their judgement. Great for playing the 'sympathy card' though......the family run around after me once I've had a bit of surgery...... :} :}
