Hi all,
Just got to let you know about this new product for the Bird. For those of you that like the sleek look, these are a must.

When I fitted the seat cowl and removed the grab handle the only thing that was missing was some form of filler insert for the indent and holes where the grab handle was. I have been on the look out for months since. ( for those that use the grab handle, bin it, fill the holes and use a pillion pal as thay are much more comfortable for both rider and pillion according to anyone that has been on the back with me )

Hey presto Jaws comes to the rescue...!!!!

Here are a couple of pics of the new grab handle indent filler plate thingy's and to be honest they look ace IMHO They are only about ?16 a pair and even come colour coded. I know that jaws can get them ( well he did get mine lol ) so if you like them then Im sure he wont mind another 200 e mails a day to sort through hehehehehe

Well

as it happens, no i have never been stopped with that reg plate on ( well up till now knowing my luck lol ) I do tend to put the normal 1 on when attending big bike bashes like the BMF etc so as not to attract too much attention, but then saying that with the Erion cans on its prolly a waste of time hehehehehe

Its not too small and the lettering is readable from a fair distance so tend not to get much greif. ( plus it helps promote the site with the "www.superblackbird.co.uk" tag line on the bottom lol )

As for the bike being too clean i only took the cover off ( lives outside ) fitted the extras and then took the photo's. says alot for the Oxford Stormex bike covers thats all i gona say

Nutter~just getting a bit para 'cos just got a smaller but very legible plate made up

so wondered what luck you'd had, although I'm in the same boat as you (i.e.pair of Akrapovic end cans with "NOT FOR ROAD USE" stamped on 'em)
