did you know that the reason traffic wardens have a yellow band round their hats is to stop people parking on their heads.

But one band just means during office hours dunnit? No wonder you never see one about in the evening!

Btw - the above question is a valid one.

What I mean is that the majority of peeps who park on double yellows are handicapped.....the majority of handicapped are elderly.......so do they have the majority of accidents due to infirmity/senility/Al t Zeimer raging and heart attacks etc....eh eh eh?

I thought the majority of people who park on double yellows were women in 4x4's, or rich cockney's.

True Story

I came home from work one day (this summer) to find a car across the pavement in front of my house, the boot was stuck out in the road, the bonet and front wheels were on my garden and the middle section completely blocking the pavement.
I rushed in to house to tell Dawn there had been an accident, to find Dawn with one of her costmers, the costmer looked out the window and said '' it's alright it's my car, I normally park it more on the pavement but I'v got the wrong glasses on today''

Yes she's old & very rich, but she hasn't got a 4 by 4, but to be honest she doesn't need one, as she can get her saloon car in places a 4 by 4 driver wouldn't even attempt :bang:
