Just bin too dentists and i dont no what hurts most having tooth pulled or paying for it . As regards dealing with the pain of having treatment, i look at the light and think to my self come on you bastid hurt me you arse, bring it on. Me ??? I just grin and bear it.....don't enjoy it and tend to wait until I HAVE to go to 'em !!!!!

Trace has the right idea.....goes to a dentist that puts you right out then does the work. She wakes up once it's all over !!!! :} :}

I was supposed to go into hospital tomorrow for a 'small surgical procedure' in my mouth, but they lost me oin the system so the appointment never came through :B

I just lay there and look at my dentists tits - she is late 20`s and a bit of alright. Get the odd knocker pressed into my ear now and again which is comforting throughout the pain :}

Get another one !! You may well not like the thought of what's going on and find the experience stressful: fair enough. However you should not feel pain - unless you've left it far too long, have a raging infection so that no anaesthetic will physically be able to work - but then it's not exactly the Dentist's fault then is it ?

I could bore you stupid over what this and other Governments have done to NHS dentistry and gotten away with whilst painting the profession as the villains of the piece, but I won't.

............Oh...........and if you have an NHS practice at the moment: treasure it [if it's a good one] cos after next April, chances are these will become even fewer..................You heard it here first.

I went to the dentist's yesterday to see the Hygenist - she is blonde, very good looking and my head was pressed into her cleavage whilst she was polishing my teeth - a very painless way to spend 5 minutes I can tell you! Only trouble is I don't need to go again for another 12 months! :cry: Johnstone and Whitehouse in Chester.

Why when "Polishing" your teeth and reaming out the gaps with the pick thing the assistant has to stick the lance of pain....ok cold air/water sucker in yer mouth as well, and why do I always bleed like a stuck pig, and why does it hurt, and why do they do it, and why and why and why????? I hate it! Oh and route canals....don't go there! :t

I think giving it some with that hook thing that makes us all bleed like a stuck pig is a sadist thing,as regards route canals i was given the choice on monday last, as to have it done or take it out,ive not had a good report yet on route canals shit load of money and nowt but trouble,so i told them take the fecker out DONE WITH. :-:

...throughly, every day for yourselves and be spared a whole rake of unpleasantness.

For the biggest and most common cause of the most common dental diseases, ie. decay and gum disease, please see the nearest mirror !! LOL
