We are deff keeping ours, nothing out there that dose the job half as well, and the price of that new beemer will keep it out of my garage. We will see whats what when the VFR12 raises its ugly head, but to date, its the bird for me.

Was discussing this very thing with Jaws and Pete at the BMF today, me and Jaws reckon we've been there, done that and arrived at our ideal bike and the kid Pete has the bits so he can alter his to whatever he wants so add another three who are staying with it.

Definately (note spelling) keeping mine - it took me five years to save for it so it has to last for a while yet. Besides - what else is there at the moment?

I guess I have to agree with Ian, so far nothing comes close. I've had one for three years now, it still gives me a buzz now like it did the first time I saw one. R#?

Keeping mine for another year, may get another then (newer) or may downsize to an ST, depends on resale values etc, will be having a Pan though in a couple of years.

I'll be hanging on to mine untill it becomes vintage or turns into a pile of iron and aluminum oxide ................

Don't mean that I won't be adding other suitable steeds to the stable as they present themselves though.

Staying with it

I have had many bikes but none have even come close to being such a perfect all rounder as my Blackbird.

I would only consider selling mine to buy a newer one.
