Posting on behalf of Pete B4 he wakes up - well he has had a blast round the Cotswolds this afternoon!
Anyway, Pete wants to use the bike if humanly possible. I am slightly more conservative 'on the back' as I can't see the point in arriving freezing cold AND wringing wet; so MY thoughts are as long as heavy rain isn't forecast, then we probably will use the Bird.

Only ever done long distances on the bike before, so don't know how we'll cope with poss. 4hrs in the car.
Backache, Carol navigating, leg twitches, sweating, Carol navigating, frustration, Carol navigating, earache, more earache.
And they say motorcycling is uncomfortable!
What time is the kick off so I can set the alarm clock for Sat. morning.
The journey should take us about 4 hrs but by the time we've stopped for me to snatch the road map from Carol (min 4 times), stopped for slanging match (min 4 times), stopped for punch up (once, she always beats me and I ain't stopping for another one), it could take us all day
