DB has a 40th Birthday

OK peeps.
DB, who live in Glawster has a 40th birthday comming up. During January we intend to help DB and his family celebrate this milestone by going to Glawster to party with him.

The dates are the weekend 25th/26th, the intension is to stop at the local Travel-lodge at about ?50 per room, so if your a single it may pay to share if possible. Those who are interested please post below asap so we can try for a block booking discount at the hotel.

I will take all definitely booked numbers from your posts here in order to book the restaurant next Saturday 04/01/03. After 04/01/03, If you're not on here as a def booking, you'll need to ring me on 07799 085961 and speak or leave a message. I can't promise to add you on as this depends on restaurant availability after booking has been made. But, as we speak, there is full availability in both Inn and Restaurant at the moment. In all cases, you need to reserve your own room by credit card. It's ?42 per room per night at weekends at the mo........

Dont forget we're talking about the w/e 25-26/01/03

Hotel Rooms

Have just booked our hotel room via the telephone as the internet booking link didn't want to know.

Just thought I ought to tell you, hotel said last ground floor room had been booked by a couple from Ludlow who were apparently most insistent about having a ground floor room but didn't actually specify why - don't worry though Mark, I didn't enlighten them. (Must ask - did you really request an extra bed "for my bird" ?)

..............the cost for the w/e is significant for each couple. I am particularly touched [I know, Bert - long suspected] that so many relatively new friends [ie. since Feb 2002] have said they're coming.

In order to make it a bit more of a w/e for everyone, Claire and I would like to invite everyone who makes it, round to our gaff on the Sunday lunchtime for a buffet and perhaps a parting drinkie for the non-drivers

This way, we get Sun am to recover and a chance to view the digital photies [evidence!!] Don't forget to bring your video leads: those of you with digital cameras that is...................
