More than once I have felt grateful that I had a son as I’m not sure I could cope with a daughter.

While sat in the car outside Morrison’s today a number of young ladies walked by wearing next to nothing. One in particular had cut off jeans and a halter top thing that you would struggle to make half a dozen face masks from the pair of them Combined.

It would drive me nuts as a parent and there would be many an argument.

There was one similar to that I saw waiting for a bus, all tattoos, piercings, and a matching tag on the ankle - said it all really.

One evening daughter was dossing about so I suggested going down the road to go bowling.

She was wearing a short grey tartan skirt, heavy flecked wooly walking socks, Doc Martins about half way up to her knee,
ring through her nose, various "climbers" on her ears. Possibly some odd hair colour.

I wouldn't walk down the road with you dressed like that"
That being, ordinary trousers, maybe Chinos with sandals and socks.

I’m not surprised she wouldn’t walk down the road with you. The only fashion crime more heinous than socks and sandals is the combover.

I don't think barefoot in sandals under ordinary trousers looks good either.

I had 3 daughters the younger twins caused no problem at all but the eldest caused many a bruised knuckle and a couple of broken toes by picking the wrong lad .... fecking nightmare for a few years from 15 to 20 ish, thankfully she has her head screwed on a bit better now as I am getting a bit old for that shit
