Took the old bloater out for a birthday beer last night - well at his age he doesn't get out much - bless


It only took 3 hours for him to expose his wallet


After we'd cleared all the dead moths out of the pub - he actually bought me a beer..........................

Only a half though!

I would just like to point something out here, when Bev and I turned up for the christmas bash in Matlock bath, Ian got his wallet out straight away and bought both Bev and I a drink, me a pint, Bev a Bacardi & coke. Bert on the other hand turned up after everyone else and I didn't see him go anywhere near the bar.

Ian has also been very generous to both Tina and myself, I have never thought he was in any way "tight" as someone would like us to belive, Ian has my vote for "decent bloke" :bow:
