Cycling madness

I'm sorry but this is a waste of money on a scheme that borders, nay strike that, crosses the line of madness. This is a very busy roundabout with 6 roads leading to it and not one is capable of having a separate cycle lane. It's bad enough now, this is just going to worsen the queuing traffic problem and further worsen air quality. The article also seemed to imply a rise in accidents at the Cambridge one.

It may well work for the Dutch, as they have an ingrained cycling culture, but that's a recipe for disaster over here.
I'd hate to ride round something like that. I'd much rather there were designated crossings, underpasses or bridges.

They’ve just spent £millions developing Barnsley town centre, encouraging people to travel to Barnsley to shop then they propose something that is going to deter people coming to Barnsley for shopping.

Still going ahead despite the worsening of collisions at the Cambridge site  . Learning lessons from others mistakes is the wisest I can think of. I can only conclude that this decision is actually designed to feck people’s lives up no matter how they try and sell it.
