Has anyone else had dealings with their mailorder for visors? I've had a phun time getting a visor for my helmet from them that's put me off using them in future.

I made an order for a Shark RSR visor online, but only realised it was going to the billing address (where I wouldn't be) just after sending it. I emailed them immediately as it was about 7pm, so they'd get the email before despatch.

A couple of days later I found a "To sign for" card from the post office on the door mat at the billing address (not the address I emailed them), so collected the visor from the depot. I tore open the packaging, removed my old visor to find they'd sent the wrong damn one! I phoned them up, and was told to return it and they'd send the correct one when they receive it back. The very next day I sent the visor off special delivery to arrive on the Thursday morning. It cost me about ?4 to send! I included the original invoice and a note asking them to send the correct visor to my delivery address, not the original billing address.

One WEEK later I found another "To sign for" card at the billing address door mat again. I've now collected the correct visor, no note in the box, no returned invoice, nothing to say I've been refunded my ?4 postage, no apology for taking another week when it should have arrived the next day!

So there you go. I won't order from http://thevisorshop.com again. If you have had better luck, I'll be impressed. They don't appear to read emails, or printed letters with delivery instructions.

I'll go check my billing address again in a few days to see if they sent a cheque for ?4.

Never used them......but for future reference I've found these peeps to be brilliant for visors and helmet spares. Delivery within a couple of days, always got what I ordered, not bad for price, plus on-line ordering.

I used them a couple of years ago and it took a couple of phone calls before I received my Arai visor. There excuse was that the NW 200 was on at the time, but still not good service. i'l use someone else the next time.

Cheers

I used them last month to get some spares for my Arai lid. Ordered at midday on Thursday and the stuff was delivered to my house on Friday!

Never had any problems with them in the past and I've always been impressed with the service and delivery time.

Maybe I've just been lucky! :dunno:
