The wife used to have a Roof Daytona, which she reckoned was the comfiest lid she has owned to date. Trouble was, the factory burned down a few years ago and you couldn't get visors for ages.

She's now got a Shoei NXR and that weighs about the same as 2 fag papers.

I got the Roof because I was suffering from tinnitus from work & it was the quietest helmet on the market at the time + your wife is right they are really comfy & pretty light

It's still in a bag in the loft somewhere. I might have a look on the interweb to see if you can get visors again.

Used to like Sharks until I found Shoei then realised just how bloody noisy the Sharks were !.

I think a lot depends on the shell size + fit when considering noise I have suffered tinnitus in the past so noise is always a consideration for me & I cant wear ear plugs, I don't consider my shark noisy & it hasn't caused me any problems at all in 3 years, I don't get the nods at speed with it either but the quality isn't as good as I expected for the price & I don't expect it to last another 3 years

I too really rated the Roof Diversion. Only reason I didn't get another one after dropping the original is that it was on order for weeks and I got fed up waiting.

I bought a Shoei nand loved it...after much time spent adjusting the visor to get it to seal properly.

For those Shoei owners out there, and I don't know if they still do them....the graduated tinted visors are both awesome and Road legal...heavily tinted at the top fading to,clear at the bottom. Not cheap but well worth it for summer riding.

In my humble opinion.:)
