Steen from Denmark

is a biker and likes involve his wife and two little kiddies in the biker scene.
It works for them. They all love it.
I have followed Steen and have been amazed at the speed and accuracy of the outfit. He has obviously mastered the black art.
I know a chap with a R60/6 outfit that he has had from new. It's his only transport. It has a had a few bigger BMW engines in it and he has done about 6 Elefant Treffen.
In the mid 70's I had a couple of rides on a 500 Velocette outfit and despite being told drive around the sidecar on left handers and shut off for right handers I was petrified but enjoyed the thrill. Over the years I have often thought about trying an outfit again out of curiosity. Especially after seeing those BMW and Zundapp outfits in WW2 films and documentaries.
4 years ago in France there was a disabled guy on a Hyabusa outfit on the tour with us. It was a proper low job, a kneeler. He drove his wheelchair onto the platform and then dragged himself on to the saddle. He was never left behind apart from the fact that he couldn't filter in town.
Respect.

Oh, go on then

I'll bite! What do you mean " feg it up" It looks brilliant! Which is why I want one to nail the Merlin onto. Outfits are great fun if set up correctly - a real handful if not. As to "why" - cos it saves you being a selfish git as you can take the kids/wife/dog/budgie ( delete as appropriate) with you on your run out. And you can't fall off! And they are a laugh in the wet!
Roxxo - if you want a go in one give me a shout. As for wanting a Zundapp outfit - there is a firm in Germany who still make them - around ?25,000 if you have a bit of spare cash!
Allan/Roxxo - have you a photo of the front wheel from the nearside - I want to see if the front end is a single arm. Thanks in anticipation.

Outfit

Sorry - just had a proper look at it - it is a hub centre design - very expensive but does the job. I will still have a photo though!
