Cold tyres?

Decided to come to work on my bike tonight. Havent ridden it for a out a month. Got about 1 mile and the front end felt very weird. Felt soft and squishy. First thought was tyre pressure. Went home and yes, front pressure was down about 4 psi and the rear about 1. Theres no point in doing one and not the other!

Left again and it still didnt feel right. Felt slow in the corners. Better after I'd put some air in but still not right.

By the time I'd got to work, 18 miles of fast twisty roads then very fast main trunk road, they felt better but still not quite right!

I'll have a proper look at them when I'm next off to see if they're just properly worn out but, other than that, any ideas?

My front end felt like the wheel was in a rut a slow speed for the first few miles. I need to check my pressures but that was prolly the last time the old bag will come out this year.

I had a run out today on the Tourer, think it was the colder tyres that didn't give me the confidence to push, as you say , just didn't feel right.
Doesn't help that I'm still not fully at ease with it, the whole sit upright riding position feels so alien to me!
Probably doesn't help that I chop and change which bike I ride and I have to say the BIRD fits like a glove.

Which tyres??
I had 023s go weird during a journey.
Fine going and on the main road, when I got to town and hit roundabouts it wouldn't roll in

Only the big Panzer has tyre pressure monitors, the baby doesn’t.

Could just be they were squared off last time you rode it and hadn't noticed the gradual deterioration that was obvious when you next rode it.

The baby Panzer is super cool retro, air cooled and no fancy gadgets! :p (Ahem, apart from ABS and traction control :D)
