Chunnel discount code?

A little while ago in the touring section there used to be a sticky thread that gave a code to be entered when using the Channel Tunnel that gave a massive discount. Has anyone kept a copy of the code?

I used it myself last September and paid ?10 for the outward trip and ?14 for the return trip 4 or 5 days later. I'm pretty sure it was originally posted by Wiz. I've done a search but nothing came up - any ideas? :dunno: :h

Russ it was deleted... after I ask Wiz to! I used this number to go to France in October no problem, booking a very cheap (especially with the discount number) same day return and not using the return. Then did the same trick to come back to UK and when I arrived at the toll I was told that the staff member the number came from CANCELLED MY FUCKING TICKET!!! And they are entitled to do that... ladyparts! so I had to fork out the full rate, still cheaper than a normal ticket since it was a same jobbie (and I didn't use the return for the slow ones reading this post) but fucking pissed me off... So when back I immediatly contacted Wiz for him to remove the post since I didn't want anyone else to be caught of guard like I was... there you go, fascinating eh? Now the good news, Wiz told me he was negociating a discount with eurotunnel for bikeroracle members... Going there with the estate car to do a cheap run in Calais with the wife?:neenaw:

Got all the time in the world m8 w;;v As long as she still has her horse then I know I'm safe from being 'reined in'.

Work every Sunday anyway so that's no change :bang: As for kids, the longer I'm without, the more selfish I'm becoming and want them even less

The day went great, was a good day - thanks  Have you spoken to your good lady about tackling the 'Ring this summer? (sits back and waits for the double entendre locals to get hold of that one!)

Same here, Pierre !!! Booked a day trip in October and had the ticket cancelled by the owner of the code. Was so pissed off by the Tunnel staffs attitude I rode down to Dover and got onto the Hoverspeed ferry....I can only think that the owner of the code has some beef with the forums !!! :dunno:

I also e-mailed Wiz once I got home.

Horse prower  When she get's bored of the four-legged variety, she can always transfer to the two-wheeled variety mate - you know it makes sense!
Totally concur with ya thoughts on sprogs mate-what a pain in the arsedge.
We will deff visit the ring this year dude, so I'll give ya a bell to discuss some dates & whether we ride or trailer the bikes there - probs leave it 'till the warmer weather arrives anyway (she is an Aussie after all!!!)
