I tend to find that when I ride fast bugs crash themselves, mainly into the screen, headlight and frontal area of my 'Bird- I don't need to get them fitted;-0))
Do you have a slow red 'Bird?

I have the JAWS ones fitted in place of the fairing bolt near your knee, school of thought is not to fit the crash bungs that you fit low down, where you have to drill hole in fairing as if you go down, they may tip the Bird on its nose causing more damage
