changing swining arms and forks and handling

Hi

I am thinking about a conversion, involving a single-sided swinging arm and upside downies. I was wondering if anyone had any actual experience of how this affects the handling of the pre-fuel injection Blackbirds?

Thanks

Hiya seriously, the one at the moment making a pigs ear out of the back end of a Bird is Jaws Himself, if he ever gets round to it,:whi5tl: the other end would be Taffy, he has done a few front end conversions to his bikes, I would contact either, as both would be very helpful if your looking at going in that direction.

Mine is mechanically all done and has been for about a year now..

I cannot get any further with the build as I need a rad and simply cannot afford one..

I used a pre-vtec VFR 800 arm that I machined somewhat ( they are too wide and had to not only narrow but bore the bearing holes deeper ) and a complete ZZR1200a front end ( bought off Taffy for ?450 )

The front end is more or less a straight bolt on jobby requiring little machining.. I just milled the yoke stops off the bottom yoke )
