Wow! What a Sunday of racing that was, eh?

Three spectacular races in Aragon:

  • In Moto3 Championship leader Acosta crashes and his compromises his championship lead - then his nearest rival crashes and hands the points back to him!
  • In Moto2 Pole-sitter Lowes crashes out - and Remy Gardner chills out, take second behind team-mate Fernandez to secure the Team Championship for Ayo KTM
  • In MotoGP An absolute classic duel as Paco Bagnaia puts Marquez behind him to take his first MotoGP victory

Had to pay my debt to Mrs DA’s patience by accompanying her on a two-hour walk from home, up into the hill forests overlooking the sea while the telly continued to work hard, recording the Monza shambles that was Formula One (apparently, as reported on here...) - which I shall view later this morning, after breakfast and chores have been completed.

One thing I’d ask is that if, in future, you’re going to contribute to this thread, please put “Spoiler” in the title of your post. Then you won’t be accused of being a wa… ...errr… a spoiler.

Ain’t life grand when the sun shines?

Surely it's up to you to not read a thread about racing, until after you have watched the racing?

He will have been given that info down the confidential team radio.
Apparently not.

Either way common decency says you help someone who is potentially in trouble. Whike Hamilton was unhurt Max did not know that. The whole lot could have gone up in flames.

Reminds me of the person who ran into the back of my car at a roundabout years ago - all he was interested in was the damage to his car, never asked if I was ok. I went to his car to check his passenger (turned out she was his wife) to see if she was ok as he hadn’t bothered.

Looking forward to MotoGP this weekend. Lots happening with the return of Dovizioso to the fold with the Petronas Yamaha satellite team, and Franco Morbidelli in the Factory team. Across every category there seem to be similar levels of excitement regarding the potential for “upsets” in championships that seemed all but settled, not too long ago.
…and it could all be the same again, next year!

...45mins to Moto3 FP1...

...Standing by...

What a day! (y)

Great quali. sessions in MotoGP (although, a shame that Rossi had two crashes - and a greater shame to see Marquez struggling so badly with his shoulder. He’s following other riders so frequently now (for a “tow”) that his condition must be a lot more painful and, potentially, a lot more serious than it appears. Frankie’s back and Fabio beat the rain by about five minutes to achieve the result he was looking for and Pecco pulverised ‘em all…

What a brilliant day!

Great quali. sessions in WSBK and Ab-Fab racing this afternoon, across all classes; a day of real drama, heartbreak (for some), triumph for others and thrills for anyone watching the fantastic skills on display…

What a day...

…and there’s all day tomorrow not even touched, yet! :aaaaa:
