Rhino, what advice do you need for Emma. When I go on a rally I take, 1 pr knickers per day, two pairs of socks, one pair of jeans, a sweatshirt, a tee-shirt (the thigh boots, if there's room:blush and the waterproofs, of course.

Oh and a packet of mint imperials, who gets to clean their teeth on the average rally.

There's no need to worry how you look, because there's bound to be plenty looking worse (especially in Emma's case!), and besides that, the intake of beer means that every male in the place thinks every female looks great. Wonderful things, rallies! :beer: :beer:

And a good ride is great anytime, of course

For Emma

I used to take all sorts of things on biking trips and invariably came back with most of it unused. I still do take a toothbrush, but it's more of an ornament.

Real essentials are bog roll, black bags/carrier bags (no weight or bulk in these), pint plastic glass (which you usually acquire on site) to pee into in the wee (sorry) small hours, teabags and tiny cooking things to boil the water for tea. A cuppa first thing is far more important than how yer hair looks. Everyone else looks just as rough, or worse. Anyway, if you drink enough you won't give a stuff anyway! :beer: :beer:

The real trick is to pitch your tent next to the scruffiest bugger of the lot, which will invariably make you feel immaculate by comparison.

The alternative, of course, is to ask Lumpy to drop by on his way to the Bash and sweetly ask if you can put one two or small items in his Senator but I bet you don't use most of it.

Whatever, just enjoy.

Afraid Hunter & I can't make it as we'll be in Belgium with another bunch of hairy-arsed bikers (Ogri MCC going to MTC Zedelgem rally) and will probably get soaked on the way back, as usual. But there's a great pub in Brugge, it sells 400 different types of beer ......:beer:
