What is it the baker doesn’t understand? Easy to think he is only interested in getting cash in the till rather than using banned ingredients.

I can only think it is something to do with being based in Yorkshire.

The additive isn't banned, it's allowed in cocktail and glacé cherries. What makes me laugh is that it's banned for use in sprinkles because it might make children hyperactive. You ask me, kids these days are incapable of being active let alone hyper.

As we are being pedantic It is banned for the specific use in the article.

Oh well if we're going down that route, it's not banned for the specific use in the article. It's just banned from being used for that use in the cited specific area i.e. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. :flipa:
Missing a comma.

The fact that you referred to the word “or” as a conjunction tells me you actually googled it, as you know not everything on the internet is true & you can scroll past twenty answers until you reach the one you want.
Tell me how many books you’ve read that start with “or” how many newspapers etc begin a sentence with “or”? The answer is none, nil, big fat zero, why? Because it is wrong, fact, end of.
