As you know, Stealthy & I and our respective partners stayed with some german freinds of ours at their campsite just north of the ring.

They have a fabulous site at Mayschoss, just 15 minutes north of Adenau & the Nurburgring... The peace & quiet of the night are just unbelievable, and if there is a clear night, you wont be able to take your eyes off the night sky...

The website is www.ahr-camping.de but is in German unfortunately...

Here is the brochure

Hopefully, it may prove useful to someone off here.

Best wishes,

camping at the ring oh er

If you go the main entrance as if you were going to the gift shop at the F1 section. Dont turn in to the complex just keep going to the left as you look at it and about 3 miles down the road in the twistys are at least two camp sites well recomended if you dont want to be to far away yours johnny blade spent alot of time in the eifel mts lately working over there well worth a trip alone even the wine b&bs in klusserath near trier.

the ring

About 90 minutes further on you have the mosel valley and some of the most stunning roads and scenery you could ever ask for , been going the last few years and always find something different, although the wine fest at cochem is a must, august bank holiday.
