Cameras - More or Less?

Oh dear or dear....
Talk about squirm !! They really will NEVER admit the concpet is shite..
If they ( the so called Safety Partnerships ) was to get shot of all the cameras outside towns and move them to schools and hospitals, then give Fire Brigade and Ambulance drivers a free ticket, I and most normal folk would back them 100 %..
As for this bit :

I have never had a problem with fixed cameras' it's the mobiles and coppers with hand held jobs. Let them put a few more cameras' up in villages etc and that leave the rest of the roads for us to play on

they should also use more cameras on road junctions to stop people going over red lights,see loads of people do it yet there is never any police around
