My contract with BT runs out the end of this month so I phoned them up to discuss a new contract, it went well, it was a better hub and would be slightly cheaper than what I was paying now.
They arranged that this morning a technician would come and install the new hub.
This morning I had a text to say sorry but he isn't coming and to phone to arrange a new visit. So I rang up to be told yes he was coming, I then got a text message to ask if he could come earlier I replied yes to which 02said the text would cost me.
The technician then phoned me up and asked if I had the new hub, I said no I thought that you would have been bringing it he said no and that I would have to phone BT and talk to them, I asked him if I really needed a technician to install it he said no it was just a case of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.
So I phoned BT and was told sorry we haven't sent you a hub, but it will be with you on Monday afternoon do you want me to arrange a visit from a technician. me no.
