My contract with BT runs out the end of this month so I phoned them up to discuss a new contract, it went well, it was a better hub and would be slightly cheaper than what I was paying now.

They arranged that this morning a technician would come and install the new hub.

This morning I had a text to say sorry but he isn't coming and to phone to arrange a new visit. So I rang up to be told yes he was coming, I then got a text message to ask if he could come earlier I replied yes to which 02said the text would cost me.

The technician then phoned me up and asked if I had the new hub, I said no I thought that you would have been bringing it he said no and that I would have to phone BT and talk to them, I asked him if I really needed a technician to install it he said no it was just a case of unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.

So I phoned BT and was told sorry we haven't sent you a hub, but it will be with you on Monday afternoon do you want me to arrange a visit from a technician. me no.

If I had time I would rant about LG not repairing my tv.

They are all just as bad
Firms have got a lot bigger customer wise, ad a lot smaller staff wise, chasing the almighty god profit

Any one else noticed a fall of of speed lately ? Might just be this area but it seems all suppliers around here are the same
Mine is going from 34 mips ( normal for here ) down to 8 or 9 mips sometimes

Can be caused by people working from home.
Like everybody charging EVs at 18.30

The issue can happen at any time. Last night is collapsed about 0145 .... not too many folk on line then

I recently changed from Plusnet to EE and the guaranteed speed has been dropped by a bit.

I am with talk talk.. Under the contract I am guaranteed 32mips
Last time this happened I ended up with about 5 months refunded
