Well, it all came together this morning, great rides, IFH telling me I'd have passed on that ride. Then the test.
Quite calm this time and thought everything was going really well until 5 mins before the end when I'm riding along thinking 'I think I've cracked this' and a voice comes over the mike saying 'Turn your right signal off'. Oops, Instant fail.
Got back to the test centre and he'd given me three majors! One for the indicator, one for not indicating until I was on a roundabout (didn't realise I'd done that) and one for pulling away not under control.
That was as I was emerging at a T junction and lost my balance a bit, had to put my right foot down. Examiner thought I was going down, apparently, and said I did well to hold it up. Instructor said he often thinks that because I'm so light that I have to really grab and pull back with the slightest loss of balance, so I can't really blame the examiner on that one, even though, to me, it was just a single 'right foot down' moment.
A little disappointed as I really thought I'd do it after this morning, but when all's said and done, it was me that made the mistakes, so only me to blame.
However, you can't keep a good woman down.
