wow, just listened to his speech.

Certainly brave, but wise?? Who knows.

It is not beyond the realms of possibility he could be gone by the end of the week if this goes against him.

Does anyone really want a further delay to Brexit?

Only those who want to block it completely.

Well I for one wish things would settle down and get sorted out. I’ve just been in and got the dog’s rabies vaccination brought up to date for her pets passport. As soon as my wife has seen her specialist we’re off on holiday to Italy and Switzerland in the motorhome, and I’m off to play golf at the Ballesteros course at Crans sur Sierre where they just had the Omega masters last weekend. (Birthday present from wifey)

I think we should have another vote as a lot more information has come out and a lot of what was said at the times has proven to be lies :couch:

Take it easy, don’t try to force the shots. The loft on the club can do it all for you with no need to try to lift the ball in the air.

Practice, practice, practice it all helps, then the actual play will help to reinforce what you’ve practiced.

Worked for me today, it was very windy and I struggled, but not as much as the others and so I managed to win the monthly medal for division 1

Knickers to that, the first is a drivable par 4 for a big hitter and I'm going for it......

Or maybe not....

You had your vote, Minkey and you lost. Live with it! How many more votes would it take to get the answer you want?

Before you start yelling 'remoaner':couch: surely nobody can honestly say that all, or indeeed much, of the relevant information for anyone to vote on an informed basis at the time was available. in addition a lot of relevant and important stuff has subsequently become apparent as the fiasco has unfolded.

None of the above is saying that the outcome would have been different - who knows - but it would have been good for the population to vote on an informed basis at the time.

Taking a step back, the vote was a simple 'stay' or 'leave'. The 'deal' appeared as a seed subsequent to the vote and grown into something new. Kind of reinforces the fact that the vote was done on an uninformed basis to me. Your average man in the street presumably though that the exit process would be simple...mainly as nobody said it wouldn't be.

And, to repeat, I am not saying the result would have been different on an informed basis so stop muttering under your breath and pursing your lips:p.

The only voice of sanity from the day of the vote, and I think everyone will agree on this:rolleyes:, is me, who said at the time that the exit vote would bring one absolute certainty, which is uncertainty.

And here it is.....

Don't get me wrong I am not a fan of the EU, but I think so many lies were told at the time, now that more information has come out people should be allowed another vote.

Could someone please tell me what is going on? I have been watching the news coverage this morning and all I can deduce is the MPs are more concerned with what is best for the Conservative party. Labour have been shouting for months that they don't want us to leave the EU without a deal but keep opposing every deal that is put forward. Also they say they want a general election but as soon as it looks like there will be a call for an election they will oppose it. So what is really going on ????:BangHead:

IMHO politicians in general do not want to leave and are doing everything they can to stop Brexit. I just wish they would admit the truth instead of doing their best to delay any result. Extension after extension until it finally goes away. Jobs for the boys is all that counts and this is why Boris is threatening deselection. That is the only thing they really fear. Loss of a lifestyle when most are unqualified for any other occupation.

to create as much chaos and uncertainty as possible in the hope that everyone will forget we ever had a referendum and it all goes away?

In the 70’s the vote was for a common market but guess what? The politicians lied & the common market which in theory was a good idea for a trade agreement, the EU is no longer recognisable as that common market that was voted for.
Lies were told from all politicians on both sides but what information has come out that would persuade leavers to change their minds?
