You won't get my vote - illegally parked:t

And did you know there's something hanging down in front of your rear wheel:eek: Run over that and anything could happen.

Nice bike though:bow:

It's a thin line between sleeping soundly all night and passing-out at 6pm :yo:
We missed the BMF one year, and woke up to an unexplained puddle of puke outside the tent.

Well.. with a half bottle of scotch in me, the central heating on, the telly on Sci-Fi channel, I do not think I will have too much trouble sleeping ( jeez its a hard life this camping lark )

It always seems deserted at the Biker's Oracle stand. I know it was only 9am today but there was just two chaps behind the desk having a fry-up.
Not the crowds of eager bikers like they get online. h1d1ng2

Yesterday's breakfast was postponed a while as some low life had nicked all the makings out of the marquee overnight

Gotta be the WORST bmf I have ever attended

Very few traders ( unless you wanted womens undies, soap, beads, native america related tat or scabby send backs that I would be ashamed to try to flog at a boot sale ), so basically all the stuff about biggest show was just lies.*

Usual expensive food

Only saw one official from the BMF ( good to chat Jeff R#? )

*By blatantly lying, the organisers of the BMF Show managed to ensure that anyone going for the first time will NEVER return and will be sure to tell everyone else not to bother
People who read 'best ever, biggest, blah blah blah' and then find the organisers had to spread what few traders they had attend out so thinly there was huge gaps everywhere, will NOT return.. To quote Ab Lincoln: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time." ( PT Barnum or Abe Lincoln.. the dispute rages on )

weekend after erading the blurb

I'm with you John, starting with ?19 to get in, despite being a Honda Owners club member which is affiliated to BMF. The guys on the gate would not accept my membership card for an measly ?2 discount as it wasn't specifically a BMF member card.

Trade stalls were great if you wanted 2nd hand kit, sunglasses, jewelry, underwear, digeridoos & all sorts of other tosh fit for car boots only.

I did buy a new lid but taking into account the cost to get in, & stupid ??'s for food & drink) it was no cheaper than going to my local bike shop for a burger & buying it there.

It certainly wasn't the biggest & where were all the manufacturers? there were a few at the top of the showground but there was more empty space than anything else.

Compared to 5-6 years ago, 2/10. not planning to go to another one & I only live 20 miles away.

The people on the gates were a bit clueless. We were sat in the car at the 4-wheel campers entrance and they still asked if we wanted day tickets or camping. She told us the amount but had no card machine. I asked if I could pay by card on the gate and said yes. I had to prompt her to get the card machine. :bang: We asked where we could park and she just sort of gestured, didn't say anything in reply.

Oh, and what a heap of shit the bands were Saturday night. Most of them played good instrumentals but sang badly.:violin:We managed to pick up helmet, jacket and gloves for our boy dead cheap, but the food was rip-off prices. We left early Sunday morning, bought loads of bacon and bread and headed home. I just wasn't willing to pay £3.50 for a rasher on a stale bun.
