Hopefully Sunday. Been a while since I've only done one day, usually camp, but theres no way I'm camping with the chavs. Did anyone notice that its no longer a 'Memba' rally? You're all in together, chavs etc included. It only goes from bad to worse.

yep, I had noticed, I'm most averse to scuffers so I am avoiding camping in the UK until they can all once more afford to fuck off to Lloret for 2 weeks every year ......

Just got home from the show.....bloody quiet this year, wasn't it ??? Met up with John and the lads from the Thetford and District club but the show seems to be getting smaller.
Stands full of the usual tat, overpriced coffee, crappy burgers, the odd bargain here and there but on the whole not worth the ?32 entrance fee for the missus and me.
Anyone else feel the same ???

I was a bit dissapointed with the 'show', it was very much lacking in this area. I was expecting talented stunt riders on gsxr's and blades, burnouts, stoppies etc.
I had a pasty, which was barely warm, and was really quite nasty. Traditional cornish, I think the cornish would be quite offended!
And a severe lack of classic rock music, it seems the event was aimed more at trade stands and rip off food vans making money than a bike show.
It's as if they have forgotten what a bike show is all about. Far too many trade stands and not enough bike action. Overall a very profit focused event.

I used to really enjoy the evening entertainment much more than the day stuff, but given the forecast rain we just went for the day. We got there around 10.30am and by 3pm had seen it all twice. You'd expect the programme to be free with the entrace cost too.
When I rode to work every day I'd always need a new bike suit and the FT seconds tent was ideal. Now I work form home I rarely need new gear. I bought chain lube, a hacksaw and my girlfriend bought a hair clip and a hoody. WTF?

and utter shite, I might as well have tossed ?13 worth of pennies in the street and watched scuffers fight over them and it would have been more entertaining ........ I won't be going to the East of Englands slightly bike related car boot sale again ...... uber :wank:

Been going down hill for last few years, and now sunk to new lows.
I am actually reasonably happy as I saved more than entrance fee on a gallon of 2t oil for lads scooter, silkolene as well
But then got a few other bargains on top and ordered a few bits from Busters that probably saved another £10-15
And then had a great ride home it torrential rain........
I'll only go again if I need things that I know I'll get cheap enough to recoup the entrance fee.
Two years ago when they dumped us members(then but not anymore), at elton hall in favour of the non memebers and any bugger in a car, there was a band called Hogwash. Anybody seen them since, they were bloody great. Glam rock band, covered all the best from my childhood years, superb. Love to see em again.
