Okay you buffs, help please.
I'm on blueyonder, using a motorola Sb4100 Surfboard connect to the PC via USB2.
I want to install Netgear wirless to get my lads pc sharing the internet.
However, netgear uses Ethernet cables, not USB2, so when I connect it up following the instructions (to the ethernet socket on the back of my pc) it tells me it cant see the IP address.
So, I suspect I first of all have to make my pc work via the modem using the ethernet connection, but any idea how I do this, or do I have to install a network card?
Its all as clear as mud to me?. :bang:
