Newer Chromecasts can do that I believe.
I appreciate that some of you lot are a bit challenged when it comes to technology, so all forgiven
But to reiterate, but I am after a Bluetooth to HDMI dongle
Not a WiFi to HDMI adaptor
If the kit you're trying to connect has BT then surely they also have WiFi capability ...?
Have you got a "smart TV"?
I can 'cast' what is on my phone to my TV.

This??
I think you are spot on.. Will have to settle for a wifi to HDMI one and not use all the gadgets on itI'm guessing you're after a BT receiver that connects to a HDMI socket in your TV?
If so, I'm not sure there is such a thing. Plenty of cablea that have a HDMI connector one end & USB the other and you can also get HDMI wireless dongles that use microwave to transmit a signal, but as far as I know, they're just HDMI connectors.
Think you may be out of luck.
I used one in my last job for training purposes - casting a laptop, tablet or phone screen onto a big screen TV or projectorI think you are spot on.. Will have to settle for a wifi to HDMI one and not use all the gadgets on it
So who has bought and used a Chromecast for telly / phone et al interface ?
Cheers for that.. Broadband and WiFi is def not a problemWorks well at 1080, but higher than that and and you'll need at least 20Mb broadband and a strong, consistent wifi signal.
