Well, it's finally happened, I've gone bonkers, Last month I used my Garmin twat nav to get to an address in Manchester, I went in the ol jalopy as I still can't ride the bikes safely yet. as well as it was fekkkin freezing, so as usual I "always" take the twat nav out of the car when I get home, and put it in a "special" place, so I can find it, and bob the burglar can't, well I've done a splendid job of hiding it this time!! I've looked high and low for the blooming thing, can I find it ?? can I buggery!!! the cars been ripped apart, the kitchen as well, "found loads of other crap I put away safely" but no twat nav, so I've got a Garmin 660 holder on car and the motorbikes, just need to find the thing now, luckily the good old Zumo 550 is still up to date so for the time being it's out of retirement, I just hope I come across the 660 as I can't afford to replace it now.

You need Satnav to find your Satnav.

Yep, that's annoying.

Never had one but I find Google maps on phone easier than sat nav in previous car.

I used to create war if people (family)borrowed things and didn't put them back where I kept them.
I had to do that myself so I'd find them when needed.

the truth is that @ianrobbo1 did leave the satnav in the car......but he's lost the car.

It wouldn't be the first time, I had a very distinctive VW Beetle at one time, I set off to Southend on sea to see some friends on Friday night, woke Sunday morning up in Turham Green the wrong side of London, I couldn't remember how the hell I got there, I still had some cash left and my bum wasn't sore, so that eased my mind a bit, a week later I got a call from plod, when was I collecting my car, "I had been looking all over for it" it was in someone's garden in Southend, no damage and no I didn't know the people who's house it was!!

Waaaayyyyyyy back.. I had a 100E van that I painted yellow.. Came out the flicks and found it gone
I was just 17 then... no licence, no insurance, bugger all
Me and girlfriend caught the bus back to her place
Next day took the bike to work as usual.. Happened to pass the cinema car park and LO !!! The van was back !!!
That evening went back for it and yep you guessed it, gone again.. but there was a white 100E van there
It was then I realised the street lights made it look white !

Can you not check your 19837367282 CCTV cameras and see if you’re on there carrying it out of the car? Or.... it may have got stuck on one of the overhead lines / pylons in the garden?

Wait until you are as old as me.......

Happened me when I had a loan of a car from garage. It was a car park I didn't know. Couldn't remember which floor or what colour the car was.
I thought I had studied on which level I had come into the shopping centre.
