My heated grips packed up last winter so am considering either...
1 - fitting new heated grips, had Oxfords but may go with other brand.
2 - heated gloves as grips only heat up insides of hands.
3 - fit muffs to bars but they only looked OK for a CX500 or an MZ but no drain on electrics.
My Gerbings jacket and gloves were so warm today I had to keep turning them down.
At least I know it still all works for when it gets properly cold.
I've never understood people toughing it out. When I used to ride and shiver, thinking "when will I fecking get there" I used to ride like crap. Not having that distraction keeps me safer and more comfortable. Why would I want to be distracted by the weather and get chilled to the bone?
