If both bikes are carbed then it should fit, the only difference is between carb and efi as the tanks are slightly different so carbed seats are slightly longer by about 1" i think.

.you may be right there ed :bow: i forgot to mention that mine's a 99 FI :bang: :bang: bit silly ain't i :neenaw: well hopefully 1200 pete or jaws will see this and will know,i'm sure,but anyone will do(exept bert)with a sensible answer.only want it to fit an upturned yacht hull %$fan
