:yo: I am interested in going on the blackbird bash, is anyone else going from the sussex area. I live in Brighton.

they sell quicker than a tit/red /blue bird but not as fast as a blackie:beer:

Just done quick scan for you Dean.. There are at least 3 bikes coming from that immidiate area, and several from not too far away !
BIF and co will be travelling from within a couple of miles of you :p

Dont suppose anyone can turn up on a 'day' of the bash can they, just in case I get that time off, and can get up there. :dunno:

You might be able to CB... but you equally might get turned away..
The big problem is that we are charged per body and per vehicle for the site...
It was a deal set up last year as we really had no idea how many would come ( turned out to be fookin HUGE as many will testify !!! )
So as soon as someone enters the gate we have to stump up for the attendance even if they are only there for an hour ....:cry:

I'm just above mate,near Guidford.If all goes to plan I'll probably meet and ride up withe Samster,Joeboy and join Wolfie on the way up.

If ya not a boring old tosser who believes in sticking strickty to the speed limit and who loves high visibility safety clothing,then feel free to join us on the ride up.

Not sorted out yet mate but I would image going up on Friday afternoon.

Still have to sort tat bit out geezer.

So....you'll start getting ready about 8-00am Friday, Ben..... put on the Sam Browne.....bolt on the Givi's.....programme the GPS.... sort out the heated grips.....put new batteries in the Tyre-Flies.... then set off about midday ?????

That's after I've spent a day worrying if my chain is too tight and had a major panic because I can't find the torque setting for my valvue caps as well as wondering where my tax disc holder is located on the bike:bang:

Yup , it's official. Since the 1st I'm now legal and have a pricey bit of circular paper stuck on mi bike.

Hazzy Fazzy fantastic for road use. Sheeeet, how the fook am I gonna keep up with you lot and ya magnificent flying machines on the way to the Bash :dunno: :B Especially with me not being worthy 'an all :}

you will just have to sit at the back with me, and try not to shit.

Failing that ride flat out down the straight, then brake, turn handlebars, gas a little, brake turn handlebars, and so and so until you get round the mini roundabout then flat out again until the next obstruction.
