Is that a boomerang I spy at the top of the car pile Av8tor ? Or maybe a Hotshot ??
I think I recognise the one in front too but for the life of me cannot remember its name..
Last 1/10 I had was a mustang with two speed box... obviously 4wd, I think I had one of the ealry Schumacker speed controls too, but ditched that for a high speed servo and two position speed controller.. Sort of fast or flat out.. nothing in between !

Bloody excellent !
When I stopped racing ( some ooohh 15 years ago now I guess ) Shu'ee were only doing some parts ( like the LSD, high speed servo, speed controls etc ) and their 1/12 kits.. ( least thats all we ever saw around here )
At that time Associated was the best rear wheel drive 1/12 and the Mustang with autobox and traction control the 1/10..
I used to build all my own 1/10 from scratch, but could not resist that mustang :p
It was just a chassis kit and even back them cost almost 200 sovs. Woman went feckin APE when she found out !
Must have been one of the first all carbon fibre rolling chassis around. Oh, and the drive shafts were glass filled C/F ..
I used to run Ainsworth motors at 45 quid a pop, replacing them after every two meetings ( gave cast offs to son ).. Sounds extravagent but was sponsored for them so it cost me not a penny
I only flogged the commutator lathe and balance jig about 3 years ago..
Oh and before the Mustang I ran all Tamiya Boomerangs suitably sorted and modified

Ok now the wall paper - point taken reefer, but then I did not pick It, and I dont have to look at It (But I know the day Is comming when I will have to strip It !) Probably when his first flush of love Is brought home to meet the PARENTS ?

Lumpy Vulcan Is the Corgi XM607 & not XH558 (Get It back In the air)

John For years my missus though most of my toys cost only tweelvtee pence, If she only knew how much boys spend on their toys!
We have not raced for about 2 years now, and even then KO servos were close on 200 small green drinking vouchers not to mention cells & LRP speedos with traction & launch control & ABS

Now Bert & Reefer I have decided to ignore your cheep shot on DIY cos U aint seen the peair de risistance (sorry FrenchUK If spelt incorrectly) Number 1 daughters room -SUNGLASSES ON STANDBY

OY REEFER NO!!!!!!

You just keep quiet about that wallpaper, I work for coke {when I'm not on the sick} and I'll have you know that, that particular paper is VERY rare, imho it should be listed so as to stop people removing or covering it.

i know you prob wanna wait for the insurance to pay up and that..but really when they break in and trash the place like that(wallpaper in first pic) then you really wanna be looking to getting it sorted, just keep the reciepts for the insurance payout

ill keep me fingers crossed they catch the little buggers

mind you lucky it was just crayons they used and not spray cans..amazing how they seem to keep the lines perfectly spaced all over the paper..spose it could be looked on as some kinda arty farty stuff..like that "tagging" they do on trains and walls:dunno:
lucky they left the bike models alone..maybe they were disturbed:dunno: :f :} :}
