Horses for courses. iPhone for me with the large touchscreen, fair amount of free apps, MP3 player for the bike, GPS & decent maps, etc.

Personally prefer the BB as much better for typing, also has gps and maps but obviously smaller screen. iphone is funky and cool if you like that sort of thing. Mrs has the iphone so have used both.

Have had an HTC HD2 for the past few months, faster processor than the iphone, bigger screen, flash on the camera, 5 million pixels, easy to type & send emails, texts, not so many apps as the iphone, music player is exactly the same as iphone but plays WMA files rather than itunes.

Got two HD2's for the price of one iphone, deal was unlimited internet, texts & 600 xnet minutes & have been really pleased with them :-0)

like comparing Waitrose and Asda

we have a Blackberry and an iPhone here. Blackberry as I am given one free, the iPhone I bought out of choice ...... speaks volumes.

The honest truth? The iPhone wins hands down. Don't listen to the haters and the jealous gaylords of the world. Quality = Apple, period.

The Blackberry? piss poor ...... we took a poll of our Blackberry users last month, 1050 users, 77% rated them as 1 out of 7, 1 being poor, 7 being awesome.

Get an iPhone ...... anything else & you are kidding yourself ...... A Morris Marina is not as good as a Ferrari ..... no matter how you try to kid yourself.

Nor will I respect you otherwise .... :-0)

There's definitely a whiff of "look how big mine is" with iphone users.

As I saw written somewhere - you bought the phone, you didn't fucking invent it.

The guy next to me at work has the iphone, battery life couldn't be shorter if he ran the office lights off it.

Not that the HTC is much better mind.

I have my own Dangleberry, far better batt life although I'll admit the iphone/HTC do a lot more and have a bigger screen. But then once you've shown everyone who'll look your latest "app", then what's left to do except call and text people? In which case a "normal" phone will do.

Just get an iPhone and be done with it, I had a blackberry for about 6 months whilst everyone at work had iPhones. I was forever defending the blackberry but once I actually used the iPhone they are worlds apart, iPhone every time. Just wait for the new one coming out shortly.

HTC Touch HD(aka, Blackstone)

Had mine over 12 months now & is a quality bit of kit, its worked faultlessly looked at the i phone but its more of a fashion accessory than a phone IMHO,,, no doubt Apple is quality kit but HTC is better,, does everything with ease,,online banking etc, even downloaded tomtom 6 FOC & it works a treat,, nice to have everything in one place & its pocket sized.
Best bit of kit I have owned.

Well....
Ive had my Iphone since April ... and apart from the battery life (charged every night) .... everything else is fantastic !

I tried not to follow everyone at work with their recommendations about buying an Iphone ..... But I got a cracking deal brok3.... I guess the new one launched soon will be much better... but that always happens with technology purchases !:dunno:

This morning I found an free App geocaching...... and it so much fun!
I use the phone constantly, as a MP3 player, sat nav, phone and texts even accessing this website on it whilst on my journey into work !
It may be a bit 'chavy' BUT ignore those comments.... Its definitely well worth it.... Get a decent case and screen cover as your first purchase and maybe a spare battery charger ... !

what are you talking about :dunno: I've only got a G4, eMac, 2 x MacBook Pros, 3 iPods, iPhone, and had 2 x iMacs ..... and am ordering two iPads ......

nah ...... a real fanboy would have a G5 with 28" screen ......

I also have some PC's, but I don't mention them, they are shit ......

all true, mines huge BTW, and yeah, they do go on and on as if they did invent them, I guess it's that "look I had the good sense to get one, and you didn't you cheap twat" about it. I feel good about the products, and smug as fuck as a result too ...... I liken the iPhone shit battery power to what it's like for me to get in and out of my car, inconvenient, but is so much better than alternative sacks of shit on the road that I live with it ....

The Blackberry has ace battery life, getting on for a week for mine, but an embarrassment to own, I hardly ever get it out in public.

The apps? wow, life changing, Planets, Wiki, notes, sat nav, voice memo, e-reader, internet radio, met office, podcast push notification, email, alarm clock, currency converter live, share pricess live, allrecipes, tube map, a torch, flixster, amazon one touch, love film, paypal, BBC iplayer, I don't do games though, that's sad ......

more beer matron ......
