Judging by the number of emails I've received so far this week telling me that "Black Friday is here, shop today", I calculate that this is a 9 day week even before the weekend.

No doubt tomorrow there will be emails saying "Cyber Monday is here, shop today".

An investigation found ALL the big retailers offers were duff as products offered had been advertised cheaper earlier this year
Currys and Argos being the worth offenders as some of their offers were ABOVE rrp !!

I am looking at buying a Ninja foodi 15 in 1, black Friday deals advertising £148 off retail price, when you try to apply it you are directed to these horrible gold coloured limited edition ones at same price as normal ones

Same thing happens every year, Black Friday deals are often cheaper after the event. A lot of the bigger retailers up their prices shortly before Black Friday so they appear to be lowering them in deals. the reality is they're inflating the prices just to offer the illusion of a good deal.

Black Friday just creates a buying frenzy because shoppers think it's a good deal. That's not to say there are deals out there to be made, but I'd guess give it a couple of weeks and prices will be lower.

TOP TIP - avoid Black Friday and save 100% on stuff you didn’t want in the first place.

Richer Sounds were called out last year on Black Friday ‘deals’ - one of the few businesses that I really trust…they took it on the chin and promised great deals this year…and they certainly have what looks like great bargains on their website today.
